This performance features a rich mix of dance genres: contemporary, neoclassic, and ballet. Hence farmer characters’ emotional ups and downs are rendered in myriad of different colors. The mundane farming hardship. Sweats of passion. Joyous cracking laughter. A tranquil mind in meditation. Youth’s lustful pursuit. Wandering souls. Ephemeral human fates like leaves in a stormy wind. Tangling heart strings bound by romance… The Mist’s choreography portrays all these vignettes with elegance and poetry, bringing the audience a colorful feast of emotions.
